MAY 3, 2012....Roberts' Family Motorsports will No Longer allow payments to be made on OEM or Performance Projects we complete in our shop. In these economic times, we understand that at times, it is difficult to come up with the required funds to pay for auto servicing and performance upgrades. Remember, RFM has Financing Available for all auto servicing and performance upgrades. We reserve the right to refuse the requested service if prior financial arrangements are not made.
March 25, 2012.....Roberts' Family Motorsports is happy to announce that we have made the transition to a Performance Shop. Though we still offer OEM repairs to your Daily Driver, we made the transition over the Winter months. Our Race Shop has been updated to handle most Performance upgrades. This was a business decision that we had to make. From the beginning, we knew we could not operate as just an auto repair shop. The area is saturated with numerous auto repair shops and most important, that is not what Roberts' Family Motorsports was originally supposed to be. We are a Drive Train Specialty Shop and that meets our business model.
February 15, 2012.....It has been confirmed that Roberts' Family Motorsports was approved to have Mooresville High School students in our Race Shop on an Internship Bases. For several hours during a nine week period, students will work in our shop gaining supervised hands on experience working on and diagnosing problems with OEM and Performance vehicles. RFM has had success with this type of Internship program working with another High School. We contacted Mooresville High School here in Indiana requesting to be a part of their Internship Program and were accepted. Special Thanks go out to Debra Page and Dana Dillman for allowing us to be a part of their program. Students will be welcomed in our shop and our commitment to them will be to provide quality hands on training instructing them on procedures to repair and or update drive train and suspension components. We are looking forward to this opportunity!
January 28, 2012.....Today we finalized an agreement with Roger Williams owner of Williams Precision Engines located in St. Paul, Indiana to use his Dyno for ALL performance engines built in our Race Shop. We will also use Roger and his Team to service the engine block, crank and heads for ALL OEM and Performance engines built in our Race Shop too. We feel strongly that the Dyno Testing will enhance the engine build by providing valuable information to our customers on their engines performance. While the engine is on the Dyno, all adjustments can be made at that time making the end result a plug in to your ride and play situation for the customer. Contact us at our Race shop for more details.
January 28, 2012.....This is our 35th year of Drag Racing and will be a year for a more aggressive race schedule for our Drag Racing Team. As you will see on our Race Schedule Page, we are committed to a host of new venues to race. We will be racing out of state this season for the first time in several years which is a very welcome change.
January 14, 2012.....Starting this month, Roberts' Family Motorsports will slowly begin to transition our shop to a High Performance "only" shop. However, we will continue to offer auto/truck servicing as long as the support is still there. We understand that there are numerous auto repair shops in this area that people have used their services for years. We feel that the High Performance arena is best for us. But again, we will still offer the normal auto/truck repairs for as long as the support is there at very competitive prices!!!
NOV 11, 2011.....ROBERTS' FAMILY MOTORSPORTS is very excited to announce that we have Financing Available for ALL Drive Train Services we offer in our Race Shop. We were looking at various help plans to offer our customers and we found a very helpful resource for those that do not have the resources to pay for the entire service bill on your ride upon completion. This Financing Plan may help curve the burden on your finances. For further information, call us at our shop...317.496.2122.
OCT 7, 2011.....ROBERTS' FAMILY MOTORSPORTS IS NOW IN THE HOME PAGES PHONE BOOK!!! The people on the ad staff put together a perfect ad for us. Check out our ad on page 17.....if you have a copy!!!
June 23, 2011.....For the past several weeks, we have been working diligently at the shop taking care of our fantastic customers. Though the rewards are good, it has affected our racing plans. Not complaining though. We enjoy what we do. In the next few days, we will be updating our racing schedule to reflect the remainder of the year. With the 2011 half over, we need to be on the Drag Strip somewhere enjoy life in the fast lane!!!
June 4, 2011.....We are currently working diligently getting our business up and running. So far business is good though the economy is hindering in some areas. The $4.00 plus a gallon fuel cost is hindering also. Our business is not the only service center that the economy has hindered. So, with the Lord's help, we will just take it a day at a time.
This is a sincere warning to all that work out doors or even just doing your yard work at home. We all enjoy basking in the sun; however, Please put on a good UV Sun Blocker to help protect you from the suns harmful rays. I have been diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer and have had two surgeries. So far, Thank God, all is well. Now, my life will be filled with visits to the Dermatologist to insure things stay OK. In my case, heredity plays a huge part in diagnosing this type of cancer. My Mother passed away from Melanoma Cancer when she was only 54 years old. So, it is very important to take precautions as much as possible so that we all can enjoy activities with our Family and Friends!!!
(Camby, IN....March 1, 2011) IT'S OFFICIAL: The Roberts' Family is proud to announce that our Race Shop is now in full operation for your High Performance and Drive Train needs. On February 28, 2011 at 8:20 p.m. the Morgan County Plans Commission Board unanimously approved our request for a "USE VARIANCE" to operate our Drive Train Service and Race Apparel Shop at our home location. This business decision was not made overnight. We wanted to insure that we continued to show a sense of "Caring and Concern" for others without making them feel like they are just another number with a Drive Train Service issue. Our main focus and specialty will be servicing Drive Train Components. From engine and transmission overhaul (standard & automatic), clutch systems, transfer case and differential upgrades. Our automatic transmission overhauls will always include a new torque converter. We will continue to overhaul carburetors at our shop too for those Old School applications at very competitive prices. There have been some who have asked if we will have normal auto servicing and diagnostics? The answer is yes; however, it will be at our discretion. The reason of not wanting to be classified as an Auto Repair Shop like so many are in our area are two fold. We feel we can give more personal attention and good customer service to your drive train issues. And, focusing on your rides issues alone without numerous vehicles waiting in line for service will help us provide "Quality Service" with no distractions. Furthermore, you will not see any liftes or bells and whistles in our shop like a normal auto service center. We are a Small Business, and Old School, and are very comfortable with that and would have it no other way! With over 34 years of high performance and auto service experience, we have the necessary High Tech Tools and the know how to make your Ride perform. So, whether you have a rear wheel or front wheel drive ride, there is an upgrade for your at an affordable price. NOTE: We WILL NOT install any salvage yard component unless we overhaul the component first. In addition, we will offer a complete line of Racing Apparel for the racing enthusiast. "Remember, We Will Treat Your Ride Like It Is our Own." Our Shop Hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Saturday will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We Will be Closed on Sunday & Race Weekends.
