We now offer complete Dyno Testing on ALL performance engines built in our Race Shop.  The cost is minimal.  A complete printout will be given at the end of the test cycle showing all critical performance areas such as horsepower, torque curve, fuel curve and a host of other valuable information about your performance engine.  All adjustments will be made on the engine Dyno.  After the test cycle, it becomes a plug in the engine to the customers ride and then play.  For more information contact us at our Race Shop.....317.496.2122.

A good tip to help your gas mileage is to keep your ride clean and waxed.  A slick surface will flow through the air better!!!

Here are some tips to help your ride gain some gas mileage.  Keep your ride's engine tuned up.  Spark plugs fire multiple thousands of times through their life cycle.  Tuning up your engine every 18 months will keep your Spark Plugs fresh and firing in good order.  In addition, changing your oil every 3000 miles and insuring your air filter is cleaned or replaced will also help gain some gas mileage.  Finally, make sure your tires are inflated properly.  Less rolling resistance helps gain some gas mileage too. 

Insure that when your "CHECK ENGINE" light comes on, you have your ride checked out as soon as possible.  Failure to do so may result in lower gas mileage, a rough running engine and in some cases, castestrophic engine damage.  When you see the light come on it is giving you a warning that something is not right with your engine.  The sooner you get it checked out, the better it will be on your check book!!!

This Beautiful Ride had a complete differential upgrade for performance and cruising!!!

This Differential upgrade is from a Timber Crawler.  We insure that all components are replaced to insure durability.  Pulling timber from the woods requires heavy duty components to survive.

Transfer Case upgrades is another speciality we offer.  This tranfer case is from a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Here is a recently completed 3.1 Liter V6 Overhaul in a 1995 Monte Carlo Pace Car.  Performs Great!!! 

Here is a recently completed Transfer Case for a 1999 Dodge Dakota.  Freshly updated with new chain and seals.  The bearings were in good condition and reinstalled.

This is "The Beast" as we have named it. A 1977 Ford Thunderbird. This was a fantastic project for Roberts' Family Motorsports. The list of Performance upgrades are: 351M Engine, New Freshly Ground Lunati Cam, Lifters and Valve Springs, Weind High Rise Manifold with a Holley Street Avenger Carburetor, FMX Transmission, TCI Break-Away Torque Convertor, Lokar Shifter, Drive Shaft, Drive Shaft Loop, 9" Rearend with 3.70 Richmond Gears, New Spings and Shocks at all 4 corners, New Brake Linings and Hardware and New Disc Pads riding on Drilled Rotors, New Front End Components, Aluminum Radiator and much more.  It was a True HONOR to be called upon to build this Beautiful Ride!!!

We have just received approval from the owner of the this Ride to upgrade this Monster with a better carburetor and torque convertor.  This will occur in the next few months.  The Holley carburetor is just not getting it done. So a better fuel supplier will be mounted on the intake to feed the Big Block.  We will post pictures of the New Carburetor and Torque Convertor as soon as we start this upgrade.  You will be surprised!!!

Here is a fantastic work in progress!!!  A 1987 Chevrolet truck.  We have updated the 305 engine with new timing chain, chrome dress-up kit and a new gas tank with new fuel pump sending unit. The Throttle Body was updated with new gaskets, seals and Fuel Pressure Regulator and a Performance Spacer for more air flow.  The rear brakes were replaced with new hardware and new parking brake cables.  More updates are being planned.  Stay Tuned!!!

We take pride in our Brake Services.  We installed new brake linings, brake hardware, new brake adjusters and insured that the backing plates were cleaned and free of excess rust that provided a smooth surface for the brake linings to ride against.  New Brake Drums were installed insuring good, even braking. Last but not least, we installed new parking brake cables throughout.  This Chevrolet Truck is going to be a Fantastic Ride to Cruise around at the Car Shows!!!  Stayed Tuned for more updates on this Ride!!!

Here is a NEW PROJECT for a good Friend of ours.  A 2.4 Liter Quad 4 engine that has just arrived from machine shop.  Bored .030 over, this pocket rocket engine should propel the 1997 Cavalier Convertable for many Fast and Furious miles....Stay Tuned for more updates as the build progresses!!!

Though the Quad 4 engine was toast when it arrived in our shop, the block and crank were reconditioned.  The crank had to be turned .020.  The oil clearances were perfect too!!!

Nothing but the best  goes into our engine builds.  Here is a Speed Pro Piston with the new skirt protection coating.  Perfect Circle Rings were installed.

Here is the Little Pocket Rocket receiving a new Timing Chain, Gears and New Tensioner.  The cover was installed and the Little Engine is ready to install as soon as the engine compartment gets a thorough cleaning.....

The Little Pocket Rocket Engine is coming along slowly but surely.  Just a few more finishing touches and the Little Power Plant will be ready to show its stuff.  Have already begun to detail the engine compartment of the Cavalier Convertable where this Little Beast will live.  Stay tuned for more updates. 

For You Traditional Hot Rodders that have 2 and 4 Barrel Carburetors that need updated, we offer standard and high performance upgrades at very competitive prices!!! Here is a matching Edelbrock Combination Set that we updated.  600cfm Carb with a Performer RPM intake for a small block chevy!!!  We enjoy overhauling and updating carburetors!!!

Here is a picture of some side work that we do for our customers.  The shifter assembly on a 2005 Pontiac Grand Am was not operating properly causing the shifter to lock into gears. An entire shift control assembly was purchased from the dealer and was being prepared for installation (See Below)

The new shift control assembly was installed in the Grand Am and insuring that all cables and linkages were set properly for accurate shifts.

We always insure that end play is within specifications. 

Here are 2  of our performance choices.  A reconditioned connecting rod with a Speed Pro piston with the special piston skirt protection coating.  This .030 over Equally Weight Matched Piston will be dressed with a set of Legendary Hastings Rings.  These rings will insure quick sealing and good oil control that will lead to good performance. 

We insure that piston rings and clearances are within specifications and then go the extra mile to build in durability which is our secret.

Here is a most recent project.  1984 400 Turbo Transmission.  This transmission was hand-carried into our shop for a complete overhaul.  The transmission clutches and seals were totally gone.  This picture shows the transmission about 50% complete with all new Reybestos Clutches, Steels and with all new Seals.

This is a picture of the front pump on the 400 Turbo Transmission.  We have also added a new TransGo Shift Kit to the Valve Body and have Doubled the Front Pump Pressure to insure good durability under extreme use.  We were asked to install this transmission back into the farm truck.  To date, this transmission is performing very good.  In fact, we seen the farm truck towing a 25 foot trailer loaded with hay bails.  Durability is the name of the game when building transmissions.

Below is new photos of a project we recently had in our shop.  A beautiful 1992 Mitsubishi 3000VR4 3.0 Ltr. Twin Turbo Little Monster!!!  We will fill you in on all of the details on the updates we performed on this ride soon.  We were very fortunate to have this car in our shop!!!

The Owner stopped by with his beautiful Twin Turbo Mitsubishi to go over the High Performance updates he wanted.  After a lengthy discussion, we were very Humbled when he asked us to perform the updates on his Ride.

Here is the Twin Turbo Rocket sitting in our Race Shop awaiting the updates the owner requested.  We were Humbled having this fantastic Ride in our Race Shop!!!

A Complete Tune-up with High Performance Spark Plug Wires, Performance Spark Plugs and more were completed on this Twin Turbo Rocket.  The Plenum was removed and thoroughly cleaned along with the throttle body and then secured with gaskets made from Felpro's 3157 gasket material.  A new high flow air tube was installed too.  A complete ground wire kit was installed after this picture was taken.  The ground kit helps the entire drive train components to obtain peak power for better performance.  A light weight aluminum crankshaft pulley was installed eliminating the heavy OEM pulley.  Numerous other High Performance items were installed including updating the driveshaft that eliminated a noticeable vibration at acceloration and cruising speed.  Finally, the engine was given a fresh bath with Royal Purple 10W30 Synthetic Oil.  This Twin Turbo Rocket is very unique and one that we are very pleased with the Performance additions.  Most important, we are very Humbled that the Owner of this fantastic Ride allowed us to update his beautiful Ride in our Race Shop.

This 4X4 Monster was brought to us to update some of the motor components.  We will fill you in on the status of the updates when we get the extra time.  Don't laugh at the looks. When this monster is finished, it will be fantastic!!!  The owner has big plans for this 4X4.  This is a work in progress.  One thing for sure is, the suspension has been done right.

To date, we have removed the heads, cleaned and checked for faults.  The Valve Springs were replaced with a High Performance Set from LUNATI.  New valve seals were installed along with a new set of Felpro Gaskets.  An updated Holley Carburetor will provide the fuel delivery.  There is more updates planned, but for now, we are trying to get this monster to roar like a lion instead of mis-firing and non-responsive.  We have enjoyed working on this monster and are looking forward to the day when a new body and paint don's this massive suspension!!!

The Monster 4X4 is running and roaring down the roads.  Though more work needs to be done to the Valve Train and Engine, we hope that the owner has great times with this Monster.  We road tested this Monster over some rough terrain to see if there was any hesitation in the engine after the upgrades.  It performed great!!!

Here is a New Process 435 that was brought to our Race Shop for an Overhaul.  After a complete cleaning and inspection, we decided that a special High Performance upgrade with heavy duty parts were needed for this  application out of a one ton dually truck.  A thorough cleaning and parts inspection was completed before a fresh coat of paint was applied.

Special High Performance gears were ordered up replacing the worn out gears.  High Performance heavy duty brass synchros with heavy duty springs were installed putting this tranny right in the High Performance arena ready to take on the heavy loads the customer will be hauling.

Here is the completed High Performance New Process 435 transmission ready to be installed in the customer's one ton dually truck.
